FULL TIME STATE DIRECTOR

The State Director will provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight for all JusticeWorks BehavioralCare programs across the state. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety, permanency, and well-being of children and families served by JusticeWorks BehavioralCare. The State Director leads a diverse team, manages complex systems, and works collaboratively with internal and external partners to promote equity, innovation, and accountability in child welfare, behavioral health and early intervention services. The qualified State Director will:

Exercise authority and accountability for business. Implement organization-wide, long-term strategic planning and periodic reviews. Work with the governing body to secure adequate resources. Develop and implement policies governing the organization’s program of services, planned and coordinated with the governing body, as appropriate. The qualified State Director will have: Master’s Degree in social work, or similar, and/or business. A licensed Clinician would be ideal, with extensive management experience; or, a bachelor’s degree may be acceptable for candidates who can demonstrate 10 years of experience and a proven track record of success. MBA is a plus. Demonstrated experience managing a behavioral health organization. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and access to a vehicle. Pass current, applicable clearances.
