Job Description This role is responsible for implementing the strategic vision and tactical operations for the President of TRISO-X, with the support of the senior staff. The position supports the President in managing daily functions of the organization, ensuring deliverables are completed on time, ensuring the team is structured and organized in implementing the operational and the strategic plans of the organization, and ensuring that issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner. The position coordinates external requests for status briefings from key customers and investors and works with the senior leadership team to prepare appropriate materials for such briefings. The role also acts as the representative of the President as needed to internal and external stakeholders including the Board of Directors as needed. Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities Ensure key activities and initiatives of the organization, including strategic planning, budgeting, corporate and external communications are implemented and effective. Develop organizational planning, goal setting, and a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring safety becomes a value across the organization. Steer strategic business initiatives from genesis to fruition. Establish key performance indicators to measure and improve team performance. Track, maintain, and ensure actions and deliverables are completed in a timely manner. Support the completion of deliverables, where appropriate. Guide current and future leaders through coaching, mentoring, and consulting to enhance overall team efficiency. Drive special projects and initiatives for the President. Present the President, senior leaders, or the Board of Directors with detailed company operations analyses, including risk analyses as needed and requested. Lead meetings, workshops, strategic planning sessions, and project assessments. Coordinate staffing budgets with senior leaders. Ensure managers remain on schedule to hire staff for vacancies, especially for critical skills. Support internal and external communications through the coordination of company representatives. Represent company as needed for key community, government, and business stakeholders. Serve as primary company contact as delegated by President. Drive problem solving through all levels of the site organization. Determine optimal solutions for complex problems down to the root cause level that leads to the initiation, approval, and execution of projects that improve safety, service, quality, and costs. Identify corporate and organizational risks. Develop, implement and manage appropriate risk mitigation strategies in a timely manner. Create operating budgets and capital budgets in conjunction with other leadership team members to support commercialization of fuel. Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, STEM, or similar technical field, or business is required. Typically, twenty plus years of experience in the operation and maintenance in a nuclear fuel production or other highly regulated industrial facility, such as chemical or pharmaceutical, with at least ten years in a supervisory or leadership role directing a high-performance team with measurable results and improvements. At least five years of experience in driving cost reductions and margin improvements through efficiency, operational excellence and/cost reduction to include automation. Willingness to work in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, if necessary. Demonstrated detailed understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
