LOCATION

Bedford County Utility District, Shelbyville, TN Employee is responsible for overall management of financial, employee, planning and administrative functions of the District. Employee is supervised by and reports directly to the Board of Commissioners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities in detail are incorporated and detailed in the interview and hiring process. Emergency and after-hours situations may occur and require immediate and certain response. Minimum Qualifications Must have experience in utility management including but not limited to: water treatment, distribution, meter reading and billing, accounting, and governmental regulation Must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license Must have good leadership and employee management skills A Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline is preferred Pay & Benefits Salary Range based on experience and qualifications Group health insurance with HRA, individual employee/full family coverage, including vision and dental Nine paid holidays Merit Pay is based on performance (Annual Salary Increase and/or Bonus) 451b Retirement plan with Employer 5% match 8 hours per month PTO after 3 months employment with increase based on longevity Bedford County Utility District is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and adheres to all State and Federal regulations with respect to hiring and employment practices.
