Assistant General Manager 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Nashville, TN 37214 Job Summary The Assistant General Manager of Operations will ensure back of house duties for an assigned group of stores are managed effectively. Job Responsibilities Oversee the management of all incoming inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely placement on the sales floor. Coordinate with Airport Facilities regarding maintenance, builds, and emergency situations. Supervise stock personnel and Stock Lead(s). Conduct second-round interviews for stock personnel. Work to minimize shrinkage caused by theft and inventory discrepancies, acting as the main liaison with the Loss Prevention team. Serve as the point of contact for Airport Compliance Programs. Take on Manager on Duty responsibilities, including opening and closing duties for the entire location. Be fully trained on systems such as POS, Store Force, ADP, Aptos, PowerDMS, and any other relevant tools. Support the General Manager in executing critical initiatives. Act as the backup for the General Manager when necessary. Assist in maintaining the store, including vacuuming, organizing displays, and merchandising. Perform supervisory duties, including performance management and coaching for departmental staff. Perform other duties as assigned Job Requirements Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. GED or High school graduate Bachelors in management, Human Resources, or Tech school helpful 3+ years retail, retail inventory, warehouse or stocking supervision 1+ years management Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach Must be self-driven and able to work independently Ability to multitask and problem solve Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (WORD, Excel, Power Point) Satisfactory TSA Airport Badging Process
