Position Overview:
Chandler & Campbelle Investment Group (CCD), in partnership with LAZ Parking, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant General Manager to support our valet operations at Nashville International Airport (BNA). This leadership role is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, supervising front-line staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service in a fast-paced airport environment. The Assistant General Manager will report directly to the General Manager and oversee key areas of operations, including Keybox Attendants, Valet Cashiers, and support for Parking Service Attendants. This role requires hands-on leadership, a high level of organization, and a strong operational mindset.
Work Schedule:
This exempt position is primarily assigned to 2nd and 3rd shifts, with weekend and holiday work required. The candidate must be flexible with scheduling to accommodate operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision and leadership to Keybox Attendants and Cashiers, and assist in oversight of Parking Service Attendants. Monitor daily valet operations to ensure efficiency, service quality, and adherence to safety and security protocols. Partner with airport and LAZ Parking representatives to meet service level expectations. Train, coach, and develop frontline staff to maintain high standards of performance and professionalism. Respond to operational challenges quickly and effectively, including employee issues, staffing needs, and customer concerns. Conduct performance reviews and participate in hiring and disciplinary processes as needed. Create and manage schedules for assigned departments based on operational demand. Ensure all documentation and shift reports are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner. Utilize Microsoft Office tools to track attendance, schedules, reporting, and communications. Maintain a visible presence on-site, including outdoors in varying weather conditions. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably in parking, transportation, hospitality, or airport operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and lead under pressure in a dynamic environment. Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to pass all background checks necessary for TSA badging clearance at the airport.
Working Conditions:
Majority of duties performed on-site at the airport, including both indoor and outdoor environments. Exposure to inclement weather, noise, and airport traffic. Must wear provided uniform and adhere to professional grooming standards.
