Foundation Coordinator 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars 877 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38103 A Brief Overview The Foundation Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Development, Donor Engagement, and Philanthropic Operations functions of the Regional One Health Foundation. The incumbent will assist the Vice President of Development and the Senior Director, Donor Engagement, as well as others as directed. This role is responsible for scheduling for the Vice President of Development, and the Senior Director of Donor Engagement. The Foundation Coordinator will be responsible for all office management, arranging tours for donors and key stakeholders and assisting in coordinating donor events. Responsible for overall project management and special administrative projects at the discretion of the Vice President of Development, and Senior Director, Donor Engagement. The Foundation Coordinator will ensure that systems, processes, and practices operate smoothly, efficiently and effectively. Coordinates operations with the Foundation Office Coordinator and others across the Regional One Health Systems. What you will do Acts as first point of contact for the organization, provides information and assistance as needed to donors, volunteers, vendors and the public. Performs the administrative, technical, clerical functions and activities of the Foundation without direct supervision. Manages scheduling, calendar, projects and travel for Vice President, Development, Senior Director, Donor Engagement, and others as assigned. Keeps accurate records of follow-up items and assists in the execution of them. Provides support related to the Blackbaud NXT Raiser’s Edge database. Updates and enters information in NXT. Navigates the database and its various components, inputs notes and interactions, creates files, runs reports, donor queries, makes changes and assists in keeping all information updated and accurate. Assists as needed in the processing of charitable contributions and maintains accurate donor records, including the accurate and timely processing of all donations and donor acknowledgment letters, wall of honor plaques, preparation of bank deposits, as well as prepares and coordinates donor mailings. Compiles, prepares, and analyzes various reports and data. Utilizes computer to enter and format data, generates statistics, computations, tables, charts, reports, mailing lists. Provides project-specific support for the Vice President, Senior Director and Donor Engagement, including but not limited to assisting with cultivation and recognition events, research projects, administrative projects, and assisting with email and other correspondence. Coordinates inventory control activities (including requisitioning, purchasing, distribution and charge capturing) to maintain a perpetual inventory of department supplies and materials utilizing cost-effective measures. Conducts inventory of all equipment, items and supplies; makes adjustments in inventory balances as required. Provides input and guidance on streamlining and maximizing departmental operations. Acts as the administrative extension of the Vice President, Development, Senior Director and Donor Engagement. Serves as administrative liaison and works collaboratively with other departments, medical/hospital staff, and outside representatives or agencies for matters relating to the functions and activities of the Foundation. Interacts closely with all Foundation stakeholders: senior executives, board members, physicians, employees, vendors, donors, community partners, etc. Provides comprehensive support for several internal and external fundraising and awareness-raising events per year. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in related field Required Minimum 1 year’s experience supporting an executive required Experience in a complex health, university, finance or philanthropic setting Preferred Experience in Blackbaud NXT or equivalent CRM Preferred Physical Demands Standing
