Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College Program Manager – Rebuild Florida Tallahassee State College is thrilled to announce a grant-funded opening for the position of Program Manager – P08975 with Workforce Development/Rebuild Florida . We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community. What You’ll Do As a Program Manager , you’ll play a key role in managing training, physical, assigned staff and the fiscal operation of the Rebuild Florida program.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Manages the grant staff and grant deliverables associated with the Rebuild Florida grant. Oversees the development of a comprehensive marketing and outreach plan. Develop local business and employer ties to promote student training completers and their efforts to secure employment. Develops and maintains strong professional relationships with area construction industry businesses, which may require local travel for face-to-face meetings. Manages the fiscal operations of Rebuild Florida programs. Responsible for Rebuild Florida related budget(s) and the various tasks associated with being a budget manager. Ensures timely and accurate reporting of all aspects of the grant. (e.g. financial and programmatic). Oversees the development and delivery of curriculum in multiple modes outlined in the grant. Assures programs meet national and state requirements as well as those of local construction providers Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Business Administration, Construction Management, or an appropriate field (i.e., communications, marketing) with five (5) years of relatable experience required. A master’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or an appropriate field (i.e. communications, marketing) may substitute two (2) years of the required experience. Must possess a valid driver’s license (operator). Preferences will be given for the following: two years of experience in large project management setting and/or 2 years of post-secondary teaching in a technical area and grant management; demonstrated experience in a leadership role within a post-secondary institutional technical program, OSHA Trainer Certification a plus.
