Purpose:

To provide support to the Development Department with emphasis on grant writing to secure funding from public and private entities that will benefit organizational programs and projects.

Qualifications:

Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings Must possess a valid Driver’s License which meets company standards for approved driver status Must possess an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) Must possess at least two years of experience with grants Must possess strong computer skills Essential Functions Prepares and submits grant proposals to corporate, private and government funding sources Monitors implementation and compliance of successful applications Coordinates the development and timely submission of reports to funding agencies Ensures that grant reporting guidelines are followed Meets compliance deadlines Updates appropriate program and administrative staff on an bi-monthly basis Researches and identifies new funding prospects to meet organization’s priorities Conducts research for operational needs and community resources to build partnerships that strengthen grant applications Maintains in-depth prospect files and tracking systems Develops written program language for all programs and projects Provides support to Director of Grants in conducting assessments of programmatic and financial needs of designated programs Performs all other duties as assigned This position will remain open until filled.
