Overview The Manager of Young Adult Services oversees the coordination and delivery of high-quality client services, provides clinical and case management supervision to the Young Adult Services team, and ensures the effective use of resources to optimize participant outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities The Manager of Young Adult Services is a compassionate, client-centered, and empowering licensed mental health professional who thrives in fast-paced and ever-evolving environments. We are seeking an individual to cultivate Breaktime’s case management services while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for both staff and Young Adults (Associates). This role is visionary/strategic, process-oriented, and collaborative. Clinical Oversight and Program Management Oversee coordination of support/services provided to Young Adults in Breaktime programming, including but not limited to: case management practices, external referrals, creation of customized engagement plans, and coordination with external agencies serving Young Adults. Manage a team of up to 5 by providing case management oversight through a clinical lens, advocacy, and support to a caseload of Associates in Breaktime’s program. Work collaboratively cross vertically with the Programs team and intra-departmentally with the Community Outreach team to assess for programmatic fit and case management needs for Breaktime Associates. Determine caseloads and implement modifications as needed, informed by Program data. Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders to cultivate relationships with other partner agencies to create cross-agency referral pipelines. Administration and Management Conduct weekly 1×1 and group supervision with team members to provide guidance, address challenges, and foster professional growth. Facilitate and monitor individualized goal-setting/tracking with team members and complete employee evaluations at regularly scheduled intervals. Coordinate and facilitate ongoing professional development for the Young Adult Services team in collaboration with the Programs Director, with a minimum of 4 training sessions annually. Act as a role model to staff and be available to assist in day-to-day activities as needed. Serve as an advocate for Young Adult Services Staff and support staff retention by fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Serve as a liaison to institutions of higher education in which social work interns are enrolled.

Data-Driven Strategy & Operational Excellence:

Work collaboratively with the Manager of Program Operations, Manager of Training, and Manager of Workforce Partnerships to codify best practices and standardize internal operating procedures/policies to ensure clinically responsive service provision throughout the Associates’ engagement in the program. Ensure 100% compliance with client data entry and case documentation in Salesforce, with monthly audits to maintain accuracy in collaboration with the Program Operations Manager and Impact Evaluation Manager. Ensure 100% staff adherence to thorough client data collection procedures, using metrics to assess and enhance service delivery. Collaborate with organizational leadership to develop, enforce, and refine Coaching policies, procedures, and best practices for providing services to Associates. Other duties as assigned or requested.

Up to 5 direct reports Job Requirements The Manager of Young Adult Services is an organized, detail-oriented, and skilled clinical case manager who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Counseling, Psychology or a related field LCSW or equivalent clinical license, or eligible to sit for the licensure exam and obtain licensure during the probationary period At least 2 years of case management experience working directly with youth, Young Adults, or individuals experiencing housing instability or homelessness Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a non-profit organization Strong leadership track record, including a demonstrated ability to take initiative, stay organized, and support others in meeting responsibilities Skilled in facilitating workshops and/or professional development Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Google Workspace (e.g., Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms), Slack, and Trello.
