We offer BSBA, MBA, and MSA degrees and our School of Hospitality Management offers both a BS in Hospitality Management and an MS in Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality. Additionally, the Miller School of Entrepreneurship offers a BS in Entrepreneurship. We are one of the largest Colleges of Business in the state with approximately 4,200 undergraduate and 900 graduate students. Job Duties:
This position may be eligible for Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) under the ECU FWA Policy. The Post Award Grant Manager reports to the Associate Dean for Research and functions in a largely independent manner day-to-day. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure all grant and contract funding is expended according to the terms of the grant award or contract. The position is responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of the quantitative information. The Post Award Grant Manager assists with post-award grant support and administration for faculty and students engaged in a broad range of research and workforce training projects. This position will assist faculty members and students with post-award administration of external federal, industry, and foundation-funded grants and contracts and may also assist or provide oversight for internal research-related accounts such as faculty startup funds, grant-contract reassignment time funds, indirect cost funds, internal college grant awards, graduate student research assistantships, and tuition remissions. This position may also assist with pre-award activities. This diverse portfolio predominantly includes projects funded by extramural grants and contracts from federal, foundation, and state funding sources. The support provided is partly programmatic: strategic planning for growth in research programs and research culture, development of interdisciplinary scientific and clinical research projects, and graduate research training program development, etc. The Grants Manager serves as a liaison between the College of Business, faculty members and departments, and Office of Research offices responsible for post-award grant administration, including the Offices of Research Administration, Research Integrity and Compliance, and Compliance Monitoring & Strategic Initiatives, as well as other ECU offices of budgetary and fiscal management.
Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. License or Certification Required by

Experienced in a position with comparable grants management, accounting, financial compliance, and administrative responsibilities and duties. Demonstrated understanding of partnerships with faculty, senior administrators, and external sponsor officials and agencies, including federal agencies (e.g., NIH, HRSA, DHS, DOE, NSF, USDA) and private/corporate sponsors and foundations.
