Position Description Advertised Job Summary Finance team member for Department of Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior. Assisting faculty with components of grant applications (pre-award logistics, forms, subcontracts/agreements, letters, etc.). Post-award expense processing and account management, as well as some non-grant expense processing and account management. Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or equivalency, and/or grants administration support that is directly related to the area of employment. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), knowledge about the grant application process, and willingness to and experience with taking initiative and learning new tasks. Must be able to organize information and prioritize tasks; understand relevant policies and procedures; communicate effectively orally and in writing; and have strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with administrators, faculty members, students, staff, graduates, and partners.
