Job Summary
MSAP Site Coordinator will be housed at one of the magnet schools to ensure the grant requirements are met with fidelity, recruit and market, develop reports, plan and implement the MSAP budget, keep accurate records, and communicate effectively with families and partners.
What you will do
Ensure all requirements specified by the federal grant priorities are effectively monitored and accomplished utilizing consistent use of discretion and judgment in its performance.
Communicate effectively with grant participants, partners, and district personnel.
Maintain accurate records of attendance for project events and participant progress. Collect all audit documentation and work closely with the MSAP independent evaluator and the comprehensive school reform model to prepare required audit reports.
Plan and administer the grant budget under the direction of the Director; maintain a spreadsheet of expenditures and audit file of all grant activities.
Develop and prepare interim and end of year reports in collaboration with the independent evaluator and Director.
Make all decisions and perform all tasks in accordance with Metro Nashville Public Schools policies and procedures and comply with applicable federal laws and regulations.
Work with the Director of Magnet Schools, the school Principal, and other district staff to implement the MSAP program.
Order Magnet School equipment, materials and supplies as awarded in the grant and ensure that items are put in use in a timely manner.
In coordination with school Principal and the District MSAP team, develop and implement a targeted marketing and recruiting strategy to attract new families to enroll.

Starting At:

$80,067.82
Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
