Ensures grant deliverables and funds for SPARK (Supporting Prevention of Adolescents Resources Knowledge and Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) grant.
Pay Grade:
53 Salary Commensurate with Experience and Education Minimum Qualifications 1. Four (4) years of experience in an increasingly responsible supervisory or management; AND 2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, health services administration/management, business administration, social work, sociology, or related field; OR 3. An equivalent combination of related education and/or experience. 4. Experience with program monitoring and compliance is preferred. 5.
PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
Duties and Responsibilities 1. Provides leadership for the development and promotion of the
SPARK/SRAE
grant program. 2. Research and commend alternative methods to identify current techniques. 3. Reviews instructional materials, methods, and media for use in programming. 4. Participates in the dissemination of the program. 5. Develops and prepares programmatic guidelines and standards. 6. Collaborates with community partners and providers to foster new partnerships. 7. Coordinates efforts to develop and implement outreach plans. 8. Participates in staff and quarterly program meetings. 9. Submit monthly and quarterly reports to the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH). 10. Performs other related duties as required or directed. KSAs 1. Knowledge of program and project management monitoring, including supervision and administration. 2. Knowledge of community-based providers and their services. 3. Knowledge of budget reporting and conditions of awards. 4. Excellent oral, written, and intrapersonal skills. 5. Ability to resolve issues and interpret policies, maintain confidentiality, prioritize, and work independently while performing multiple tasks. 6. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Special Requirements 1. Must be willing to carry a cell phone for contact. 2. Work may require travel to locations outside of the office. 3. Work may require attendance at meetings and activities on weekends and/or after regular business hours.
