Inventory & Sales Associate Shop Bob’s Unclaimed Freight 1947 US Highway 11, Trussville, AL 35173 Job Summary We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented person to join our team! This role includes taking photos of products, creating online listings, sorting and organizing inventory, and helping customers in our storefront. Responsibilities Take clear, high-quality photos of products for online listings Write accurate product descriptions Upload and manage product listings on online selling platforms Sort, organize, and restock inventory as needed Ensure products are clean, presentable, and properly labeled Assist customers in the storefront with purchases and questions Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment Help restock merchandise in-store Communicate effectively with team members and follow daily task lists Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting customers with their needs. Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Utilize basic math skills for inventory calculations and reporting. Requirements Must be dependable and punctual Strong attention to detail, especially when sorting and listing products Basic photography skills (using a phone or camera to take clear product photos) Comfortable using a computer or smartphone to list items online Ability to lift and move boxes or bins (up to 50 lbs]) Ability to work independently and stay organized Willingness to assist with a variety of tasks as needed Prior retail or online selling experience is a plus, but not required Strong cash handling skills and familiarity with cash register operations. Basic math proficiency to perform inventory calculations effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
