Job Title:
Inventory Control Clerk Job Description We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk for an electronics manufacturing company that serves military and defense customers. This role involves working on circuit boards used in essential equipment such as night vision goggles for the US Army and safety devices for coal miners. The candidate will be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the smooth flow of materials needed for manufacturing and engineering applications. Responsibilities Responsible for inventory control of incoming materials needed for manufacturing and engineering applications. Kit certain jobs for the manufacturing floor from stored parts on a periodic basis. Track component usage and notify supervision when stocked items reach a predetermined reorder point. Receive procured materials from Receiving Inspection and store them in a secured area. Pull materials from stores and issue them to the manufacturing floor as directed by supervision. Keep a running count on all materials procured and stored for use in customer builds. Follow Quality Management Procedures in the Engineering Lab. Deliver specified materials or kits to the manufacturing floor. Inspect all material kits received from customers on a consigned basis before issuing them to the manufacturing floor. Bake boards and BGAs requiring BGA placement/rework before issuing them to the manufacturing floor. Oversee and assign duties to other Inventory Control Personnel as needed. Perform other duties as identified by Supervisor/Management. Essential Skills Minimum 3 years’ experience in inventory control. Ability to be trained in MAS200 operations. Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 35 pounds short distances. Ability to read blueprints and work instructions. Proficiency in class 3 soldering and performing mission-critical soldering work. Ability to read/interpret customer drawings and requirements. Work independently with little or no supervision. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with others. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Strong oral and written communication skills. Attention to detail and basic math skills. Understanding of inventory functions and ability to employ them. Ability to produce computer-generated spreadsheets and reports. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. ESD Training. Trained to AS9100 Program requirements. Training in MAS200. Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in a related field. Must be able to successfully pass a background and drug screen. Why Work Here?
