Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, seeks an Inventory Control Clerk- Cycle Counter for our location in Blytheville, Arkansas. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position will perform various duties related to inventory management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow all established safety procedures Assist directly with performing inventory cycle counts and participating in physical inventories. identify any inventory in a nonprime status (QI hold, rework, returns, aged, damaged, etc.) and work to make accurate disposition for this stock. Ability to use barcode scanner for all inventory related functions. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate for the Inventory Control Clerk position will possess a High school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of related experience Experience in manufacturing or production preferred
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to work unsupervised Organized and has strong attention to detail Basic math abilities Strong problem solving and organizational skills Uncompromising commitment to safety Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with other team members Regular and predictable, full-time, onsite attendance during scheduled hours. Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Bend, twist, stoop, sit, kneel, crawl, push and pull.
