The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for ensuring that the product in the warehouse is accurately represented in the Warehouse Management System (WMS). They will record inventory transactions according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures. Under general supervision from the Inventory Control Manager performs a variety of duties in receiving, reconciling, handling, and accounting for inventory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform daily Cycle Counts Identify and consolidate lots Research and correct inventory and shipping errors Label inventory Identify and execute daily, monthly, and annual write offs Assist the warehouse with receiving containers Lot matching marble Bin Consolidation and Maintenance Bin Reporting Coordinate Stock Movement (direct moves, bin consolidation, consignment, etc.) Product consolidation by item and lot Work with Procurement regarding product quality issues Adjust and record closeout material Research shipment errors Record Marketing Tools Room (MTR) builds inventory Inventory adjustments Variance analysis between Warehouse Management System and Sage 100 software (in conjunction with the Supply Chain Analyst) Process RMA write offs and assist with issues Assist WMS coordinator with any allocations and held short and replenishment issues Assist in Physical Inventory coordination and preparation Assist with coordination and preparation of the Factory Outlet Sales as well as update pricing Other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Requirements:
High School degree required; some college preferred 1-2 years of experience in Inventory Control or related capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel ERP and WMS experience required Ability to operate power industrial equipment
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
Reading and writing work related documents in English Operate a computer and other standard office equipment Communicate information and ideas Remain in a stationary position (ex. standing or sitting) for prolonged periods of time Move about inside and outside the facility In-office role (no remote work) Must be able to lift and move up to 60 pounds. Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping. Ability to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends when necessary
