Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory management and reconciliation. This position works closely with managers and supervisors to maintain inventory integrity, resolve discrepancies, and support product handling processes in compliance with company procedures.

Hours:

Monday- Friday, 5:00 am- 1:30 pm

Pay:

$18.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy Manage discontinued products and ensure proper handling Investigate and reconcile all missing-in-action (MIA) inventory items Generate and reconcile daily inventory variance reports Review RGAs and invoices against driver returns Identify and resolve discrepancies from daily shortage reports Handle short-dated and expired products per company guidelines Pull and prepare products for vendor returns Reconcile returned products with Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) Document the disposition of returned goods Collaborate with warehouse staff on new product slotting Identify, segregate, and document recalled products Maintain and manage item bin locations Promote and participate in a proactive safety culture, reporting hazards and supporting safety initiatives Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred 2-4 years of professional office experience, ideally in warehouse or transportation settings Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong keyboarding and data entry skills Experience with AS400 systems preferred Flexibility to work varied schedules as needed INDPPFS Key Competencies (knowledge, skills and abilities that every person in this position must possess in order to be successful) Highly organized, accurate, efficient, and detail-oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to independently prioritize, multi-task and execute responsibilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team environment Energetic, enthusiastic, approachable and motivational disposition Excellent math skills Strong sense of urgency

Position Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required: Associates degree strongly preferred Two to four years professional office experience desired ideally with previous work experience in the warehouse or transportation field Proficiency in Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent key boarding skills AS400 experience desired Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
