PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The Inventory Assistant is to help manage the inventory, including processing inventory orders, logging items that have been received and items that have been taken from inventory, and physically moving products within the inventory room to the sales floor, and vice versa.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintaining and updating records Assist GM with fuel, mileage, and ELD log-in for the Safety Department. Support DC for OSHA compliance. Responsible for daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly inspections on PIT, PPE, IIPP, etc. Assist GM with all the tracking and tracing of the documented paperwork. Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures Stocking and distributing supplies, equipment or merchandise Compiling balance, price and cost reports Any other duties as assigned by the management

REQUIRED PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying. Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING
High School diploma or equivalent required 1+ years of inventory management experience
