As our operations grow, we are looking for a dependable Inventory Assistant to help manage the tools, parts, and products that keep our team running efficiently.
Position Summary:
The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and maintaining inventory of locksmith tools, parts, and supplies. This role supports both field technicians and administrative staff by ensuring accurate inventory records and timely availability of required items.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments of locks, tools, keys, and security products Organize and label stock in designated storage areas Track inventory levels and update records using inventory management software or spreadsheets Assist with regular inventory audits and cycle counts Prepare toolkits and supplies for locksmith jobs and service calls Notify management of low stock or reorder needs Maintain a clean and organized inventory area Assist with occasional purchasing and vendor communication
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in inventory control, warehouse, or administrative support is preferred Familiarity with locksmith tools and hardware is a plus (training provided) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or inventory systems) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team
