YOUR PURPOSE
Responsible for maintenance, processing, and documentation of physical inventory including customer’s own material (COM) inventory. Inventory Control entails various administrative, reporting, and support duties.
Skills Required:
Computer skills needed by Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel, and ERP/SAP. Strong multi-task skills. Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English. Must be able to operate a pallet jack in congested areas. Must be able to operate forklift and attain a forklift certification within the first 90 days of employment. Must have physical ability to work on feet for a full shift, regularly lift and carry heavy containers, and perform all duties of job in a safe manner. Must be able to lift to 100 lbs., with help. Must be available to work OT, weekends and Holidays if requested by Manager. All other duties as assigned by Manager.
Experience:
Working knowledge of cGMP manufacturing operations, typically resulting from two years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Control:
Maintain control of lot label residual quantities, control close out of labels vs. actual remaining. Ensure quantities are updated from batch records; check against lot labels to confirm they are always coordinated. Work with the warehouse to ensure continued accuracy of RM inventory counts; perform physical counts as necessary. Identify, update, control, document, and track inventory movements. Waste Management Form/Deviation Form/ID Transfer/Return to Vendor. Non-inventory orders- place & follow up. Verify production pull & Inventory management system. Work with Accounting on physical reconciliation. Ensure proper reporting of damaged materials to appropriate department(s). Perform cycle counts for specified locations auto generated by ERP system and complete in allotted time. Investigate inventory discrepancies. Investigate intermediate WIP that is in question based upon lab results.
Cleaning:
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Protection:
Hairnets, Beard covers, are required in production and storage areas. Protective clothing is required in this area. (long sleeves, pants, closed shoes). Any other protective devices will be provided by
INL. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Requires basic addition, multiplication and division skills to calculate product counts. #INDTP2
