Job Summary:

Responsible for monitoring inventory and facilitating receiving needs for all products and materials stored at the Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics warehouses and at its 3rd party or offsite warehouse locations. Strict adherence to Corporate and/or local policies, rules, and regulations is required. A commitment to carrying out the Company’s policies is required. An employee in this position must focus on customers’ expectations and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers, suppliers, and other employees.

Essential Functions:

Perform inventory transactions in QAD
Verify/reconcile all forms and paperwork as needed, including bills of lading, packing slips, manufacturing forms, work order documentation, stock movement tickets, scrap tickets, identifications tag, QA forms via electronic document storage, etc.
Schedule trucks for receipt of product as required. Review open purchase orders/incoming shipments in QAD. Work with Purchasing and Planning to review incoming material requirements. Communicate across shifts, departments and to outside suppliers and freight carriers.
Unload and/or load trucks. Put-away and move materials using assigned protocols with correct equipment.
Research and audit inventory by conducting cycle counts.
Initiate and support housekeeping and safety activities within the facility daily. Perform other duties as directed or required including supporting additional warehouse operations as needed.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
5 years of relatable manufacturing experience is acceptable for candidates without a High School Diploma or equivalent
Introductory to intermediate level Microsoft Windows and Office software
Must be certified forklift driver
Min two years experience in Material Handling is required
Two years experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
Min two years experience utilizing ERP systems for inventory transactions (receipts, shipments, and/or inventory moves) is required
Prior experience with WMS applications preferred
