What We Need:

We seek a confident and experienced individual who is highly organized and willing to learn in this full-time position in our small (but busy) assembly department. Your main objectives will involve working with acrylic parts by part number, whilst ensuring accurate assembly and packaging of product components. You will need to be proficient with computers to manage daily tasks such as processing orders and use the inventory software to keep the flow of work efficient. You will need to use some tools for the role. You will also have an opportunity to learn about printing. Our products are shipped worldwide, and due to their fragile nature, meticulous care must be taken when handling them. It’s equally important to work collaboratively with your team while also being capable of managing your tasks independently. Experience:

Worked in a Warehouse for 2 years (preferred). We will provide training individualized to our business. Must meet the position requirements and demonstrate a willingness to perform the tasks diligently on a daily basis.

Key Tasks:

Understand work orders, parts and specifications. Ensure all parts are assembled correctly according to the requirements. Efficiently manage your time to complete tasks with both accuracy and speed. Keep production statuses updated using computer-based manufacturing and inventory software. Communicate any issues or discrepancies with parts or assembly processes to the relevant team members for resolution. Conduct regular stock checks and notify the assembly manager when supplies are low. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

Cover letter explaining why you want to join our team. Computer skills for accurate updating of computer-based inventory systems are essential.: Excellent understanding of the English language, both written and verbal. Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently. Be commercially astute and a natural problem solver. Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods. Comfort with handling materials of varying sizes and weights (within safety guidelines). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus but not required. Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am – 5:00pm Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm. No weekends
