Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Procurement & Inventory Specialist to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for maintaining efficient operations and accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, and possess strong inventory management skills. This is a temporary position with an estimated duration of three months, but could be adjusted based on project timelines and business demands.

Responsibilities:

Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy of inventory records. Assist with asset management, including tracking, tagging, and documenting company assets within the warehouse. Execute shipping and receiving procedures, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts – if certified/trained, or willingness to be trained) to move, organize, and store pallets and other materials safely and efficiently. Collaborate with the procurement team on various tasks as needed, including verifying order accuracy and assisting with vendor communications. Identify and report any damaged, defective, or missing inventory items. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and procurement operations.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in inventory management, including physical inventory counts, reconciliation, and record-keeping. Ability to accurately count, track, and document inventory. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. High school diploma or equivalent. #

HP Job Types:
Full-time, Contract Pay:

$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
