Role Overview:

As an Inventory Control & Office Team Member you are part of a team that will supporting a cold storage facility. The incumbent will assist in maintaining an accurate record of inventory as well as preventing and resolving inventory discrepancies. The incumbent must interface well with other team members to create a positive work environment and healthy team culture. This role is hourly non-exempt.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

Promote a safe work environment through personal actions. Conducts regular inventory counts and records results and discrepancies and communicates the count results to management. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies including, but not limited to: researching customer claims, cycle count for missing product, adjust inventory quantities and print labels. Update inventory and inventory discrepancies in the warehouse management system (WMS) including processing adjustments. Report on errors impacting inventory performance. Assist with special projects, handling customer specific requests. Other duties as assigned. Requirements of the

Position:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience with Blue Yonder WMS preferred. Must be 18 years or older. Must read, write, and understand English.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to access and navigate the production facility. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Reliable transportation Great work ethic Attention to detail Ability to listen and take direction agreeably Be on time to work and reliable

Work Requirements:

Must be able to pass a background check. Must be flexible and be able to work overtime. Must be willing to work weekends and evenings. Ability to work well under pressure. Dress code is relaxed with a few rules to follow for safety; comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.

Physical Work Environment:

This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as cold temperatures, loud noises, and dust and dirt. The work performed will be repetitive in nature.
