The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the donation process, ensuring that all items are received, sorted, and prepared for distribution. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Donation Attendant will be responsible for interacting with donors, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized donation area. Duties Greet donors warmly and assist them with the donation process. Receive, sort, and package donated items efficiently. Load and unload donations from vehicles, ensuring proper handling of all items. Maintain accurate inventory control of donated goods. Operate cash register for any transactions related to donations or sales. Communicate effectively with team members and donors regarding donation guidelines and procedures. Perform regular cleaning and organization of the donation area to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in shipping and receiving processes as needed. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not required. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse donors. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed (up to 50 pounds). Familiarity with inventory control systems is a plus.
