Job Description

The Inventory Control Clerk maintains food/merchandise inventory with regards to receiving, transfers, and distribution; verifies all incoming and outgoing shipments for food, merchandise, paper, and cleaning products; and verifies all invoices and other related paperwork.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional duties may be assigned. Management retains the discretion to change or add to the duties of this position at any time. Assist with the receiving of food, paper, and cleaning products from vendors.
Check product for quality, accuracy, damages, and expiration dates, correcting problems.
Verify receipts against orders and packing lists/invoices.
Resolve discrepancies regarding invoices and credits with vendors.
Complete, process, and file paperwork.
Enter in and pay invoices
Enter in stand transfers on a routine basis and in a timely manner.
Enter in and print orders.
Assist with generating cycle count reports, raw materials, and production inventory.
Assist with inputting and creating recipes in inventory system.
Update and maintain food ordering guides.
Assist with regular audits and inventories of product and assist with correcting discrepancies.
Perform random audits on product, update product in system and enter inventory counts.
Correctly and accurately complete paperwork in a timely manner.
Perform and assist with the duties of other inventory control positions.
Maintain and communicate well with the restaurants, Distribution Center leads and
supervisor, and the Revenue managers.
Assist in the cleaning and organizational duties of the Distribution Center.
Study records and recommend remedial actions for reported unusable, slow moving, and
excess stock.
Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock
control records and recommend remedial action to resolve discrepancies.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be able to maintain a good working relationship with coworkers.
Must have the ability to work days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of
organization.
Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as interest, proportions,
percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Must have the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding in order to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least one year of data entry and warehouse experience.
Working knowledge of Yellow Dog inventory systems preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have and maintain a valid Georgia Driver’s license.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employment at Stone Mountain Park is contingent on the completion of a criminal background check and a drug screen, with the results being negative.
