is looking for a Support, Inventory QA in Suwanee, GA.
Hours are:
7:00am – 4:00pm
POSITION SUMMARY
This position reports to Cycle Count Supervisor. The role would include active inventory variance resolution with corrective action in real time. The intended outcome is having correct product in the right location at the right time to satisfy customer demand, while maintaining strict financial (SOX) compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following: Responsible for performing daily cycle counts and reporting results according to the METUS Cycle Count Policy and Cycle Count Procedure. Responsible for performing level one root cause analysis, including the research and investigation of physical and system counts. Investigate origin of inventory discrepancies), as organized and assigned by the Cycle Count Team Lead or Supervisor. Work with the Cycle Count Team Lead and/or Demand Planning Team to ensure that a comprehensive analysis is compiled and reported on inventory discrepancies daily. Respond quickly to inventory discrepancies when identified by the Outbound Team, so that customer orders can be shipped in full. Perform bin audits, location clean-ups, and follow-up on control counts as required. Assist the Cycle Count Team Lead and Demand Planner to ensure the proper identification and labeling of component parts according to the METUS standard labeling schematic. Review inventory on a consistent basis for expired inventory, obsolete inventory, and discontinued items. Follow up on inventory issues (quality and adjustment), recalls, emails from corporate as needed, to ensure timely response and communicate results to upper management. Generate key inventory reports directly from SAP and BI (Business Intelligence). Adhere to safety procedures/standards within the course of performing the job tasks. Perform managerial functions, including re-training members of Cycle Count staff of the warehouse as required. Be major point of contact and help organize and run all physical inventories. Responsible for maintaining or correcting active serial numbers in SAP. Create reports, aggregate inventory data, and performs statistical analysis to report on MDI boards to be reviewed by Demand Planning, Quality Team, Special Project Teams and Senior Leadership. Monitor and audit Inbound/Outbound electronic transmissions and provide technical assistance to resolve inefficiencies that impact Supply Chain overall. Partner with IT (internal and external partners) and functional business owners to resolve systems-related issues. Effectively manage and carry out any Quality Assurance requirements regarding products in the warehouse designated to be processed through the Quality Assurance Department and communicate with applicable departments. Model data using MS Excel and other warehouse analytical tools to compile data to report and improve capabilities to analyze and interpret data at all levels of the organization. Responsible for maintaining or correcting active serial numbers in SAP. Assist with special projects. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required; BS degree preferred. 3+ years working within a warehouse. Intermediate knowledge of
MS Suite:
Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. 2+ years working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), SAP experience preferred. 2 + years operation experience driving a Forklift, Reach Lift, Cherry Picker. Must be able to successfully pass the certification exam Ability to interact and participate in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-driven environment. Time management skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Ability to plan, organize, and problem solve. Must possess analytical skills to ensure success of daily tasks and timely cycle count. High level of attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $21.92 and $30.14 per hour, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
