Sales Associate (Inventory-Focused) Autry’s Ace Hardware 3540 Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30506 Overview Autry’s Ace Hardware is Gainesville’s Hometown Hardware Store, and we are looking for a Sales Associate with a focus on inventory control! We’ve been a part of the North Hall County community since 2019, and we consider our Customers our neighbors. We carry a full line of premium products, and we are also an authorized STIHL and EGO Service Center. No late nights! We close at 7pm Mon-Fri, 6PM on Saturday, and 5pm on Sunday. Flexible schedule and Funteam members! Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Associate to play a crucial role in ensuring our inventory accuracy is always accurate. This position will require regular utilization of Epicor & Mango Reports. Responsibilities Assist Customers and cover the register as needed. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy. Use Mango Reporting to manage and analyze inventory data for discrepancies and improvements. Implement best practices to enhance inventory management processes.

Coordinate / Conduct

regular cycle counts and audits to track stock levels. Collaborate with team members to identify issues and resolve inventory-related challenges promptly. Ensure inventory records are updated accurately and in a timely manner. Use Ace Hardware’s proprietary Mango Inventory System to monitor, update, and manage store inventory levels. Track low-stock and out-of-stock items and coordinate reordering to maintain proper inventory levels. Verify shipments, inspect goods for accuracy and damage, and update the Epicor system to reflect received inventory. Perform routine inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and adjust records in the Epicor system. Ensure all product data in the Epicor system is accurate, including pricing, SKUs, and descriptions. Identify and resolve inventory shrinkage issues by tracking discrepancies and reporting findings. Assist customers with inventory inquiries and provide excellent customer service when needed. Qualifications Working knowledge of the Mango reporting tool. Working knowledge of Epicor. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using computers and ability to adapt to new technology. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to lift and move inventory as needed (up to 60 lbs). Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
