Shift:
6am – 2pm Summary A warehouse auditor is responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within a warehouse environment. Their primary role involves conducting audits and inspections of warehouse operations, inventory, and procedures to identify discrepancies, errors, or areas for improvement.
Role & Responsibilities:
Conduct regular audits of warehouse operations, including inventory counts, stock movements, and order processing. Verify inventory levels by comparing them to system records and conducting physical counts. Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in inventory records and take corrective action as necessary. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management and warehouse operations. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures. Collaborate with warehouse managers and team members to implement best practices for inventory control and accuracy. Generate audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions taken. Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse operations and enhance efficiency. Train warehouse team members on inventory management procedures and best practices. Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management systems and tools. Perform other office duties as assigned
Safety:
Observe and follow health and safety regulations Enforces operating instructions and safety policies. Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures Maintain detailed records of safety incidents Assign designated safety personnel Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Minimum Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or auditing. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of inventory management software and systems. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to warehouse operations. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance. Strong attention to details, accuracy and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
