STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Assist manager in overseeing overall operation of the materials department.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
(This list may not include all of the duties assigned) 1. Pull orders from specific stock, ensuring accuracy while locating the correct material and correct quantities. 2. Handling of stock items using lift trucks, electric and manual pallet jacks: A) Verify quantities on incoming material. B) Use SAP inventory control software to adjust, receive, and verify inventory. 3.
Perform cycle counts:
A) Physically count specific items throughout the plant. B) Create, work with, and maintain Excel spreadsheets. 4. Assist in annual Physical Inventory. 5. Be certified to operate safely a 4500 lb capacity, rear steer lift truck. 6. Housekeeping 7. Practice safety on each job and abide by all company and OSHA safety rules, policies and procedures. 8. Assist in Monthly aluminum log inventory. 9. Perform related work as required.
