TEAM LEAD

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Team Lead for a company based in Baton Rouge, LA. We are looking for candidates who have warehouse experience, with a can-do attitude, committed to driving the team as well as results. We would like the individual to have lead experience, understand operating excel, strong delegation style and understands the importance of responsiveness for emails. Preferably someone who has worked in industrial environment. Experience with Oracle ERP and/or any other ERP or MRP system would be a plus. Pay Rate $19.00-$23.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 6 00 am to 3 00 pm. Possible Overtime and Saturdays Job Title Duties and Responsibilities Oversee daily material fabrication processes, ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time. Manage inventory levels, track material usage, and coordinate restocking to prevent shortages. Delegate tasks effectively to optimize team productivity and maintain workflow. Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for order tracking, inventory management, and reporting. Hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed, including potential overtime to meet deadlines. Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of materials to maintain an efficient and safe workspace. Communicate effectively with management and team members to provide updates and address challenges promptly.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a leadership role within a warehouse, manufacturing, or fabrication setting. Strong inventory management skills, including tracking materials and adjusting stock levels as needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel for order tracking, reporting, and inventory management. Reliable transportation and punctuality in both attendance and communication. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet production deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing inventory and workflow in a fabrication or production environment. Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
