Shipping & Receiving 2 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars 977 W River Road, Waterville, ME 04901 Shipping & Receiving 2 | DuraMag | Waterville, ME Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $0.00 – 0.00 What you’ll do: Count inventory to ensure accuracy of customer orders Label inventory according to established standards to ensure proper product identification Determine appropriate storage and staging locations for outbound shipments Initiate stock transfers to maintain record accuracy, according to intra-company and customer orders Fulfill Magnum orders; schedule qualifying Magnum shipment via agreed upon carrier. Notify Logistics of orders that reach the threshold for LTL shipment Calculate shipment costs for outbound shipments Fully, and accurately, complete bill of lading documents, packing slips, and pallet labels for common carrier shipments. Follow customer specified requirements to ensure order compliance Conduct daily cycle count audits to verify inventory accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work area Identify and appropriately segregate, document, and route non-conforming materials Prepare for, and participate in, physical inventory Diagnose transaction errors Check-in customer returns and determine appropriate routing/disposition Obtain, and maintain, a valid fork truck license – including completion of daily maintenance log and proper maintenance of equipment What you need to be successful: HS Diploma or GED Excellent attendance Positive attitude Able to work in a fast-paced environment; Energetic Capable of standing for a full shift Strong and consistent attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to stay on task Team oriented Basic computer skills including excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Outlook, are required Knowledge of carrier requirements Able to: o Lift 50 pounds waist high o Work overtime on short notice o Embrace change Willing to: o Learn and rotate within all areas o Improve self / area / company (including pursuing additional training, if needed) Why The Shyft Group?
