  • Hours:

    1st shift Mon-Fri Idealcandidate will have some flexibility with start time, will bebetween 6am-8am. Occasional OT.

  • Will be responsible for managingand accurately counting the inventory.
  • ASH 400 or ERP experienceideal but not required.
  • MRO experience a plus.
  • May fill vendingmachines on customer site.
  • Customer service skills required
  • Computer skills required.
  • Will use push cart/pallet jack
  • Professionalism a must.
  • Safety shoes required.
Position Summary:

The Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positionedwithin a customer’s location to fulfil daily receiving, stocking,issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or company inventory.

They are responsible for maintaining a professional, clean andorganized work environment.

Essential Job Duties andResponsibilities:

Unloads, receives and puts away incoming product,goods, tools and/or equipment; unpacks bales, crates, and othercontainers; checks for damage and for discrepancies between goodsand invoices. Accurately sorts, labels, moves and stores items;places material or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according topredetermined sequence such as size, style, or product codes;arranges storage to optimize crib space. Issues product, goods,tools and/or equipment to site employees; documents and maintainsaccurate records for issued and returned items. Enters data into adatabase or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stockrecords; retrieves stored information to respond to inquiries(e.g., inventory levels or delivery schedules.); documentsdiscrepancies on an error log and seeks management advice onappropriate corrective action. Requests requisitions to replenishinventory. Assists with inventory level maintenance; performs cyclecounts and prepares report results. Inspects and measurestools/equipment for defects, wear and tear and reports damage orwear to supervisors. Prepares periodic inventory or maintainsperpetual inventory of supplies and equipment. Delivers tools orequipment to associate work locations. Investigates and locateslost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies. May repair, serviceand lubricate tools and equipment as required. Performs otherrelated duties as requested.

Job Qualifications:

3 months relevantexperience and/or training. High school diploma or equivalentpreferred (not required).

Relevant experience and/or aptitudeshould include:

Loading, unloading, picking, packing or movinggoods in a warehouse environment. Demonstrated ability to read andinterpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Basic computerknowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitudeto learn; preferred technical skills to include but not limited toMS-Office products, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21. Demonstrationof basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide inall units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, anddecimals); ability to compute rates, ratio, and percent preferred.

Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to workin a team environment and be self-motivated to accomplish assignedtasks and goals. Demonstration of attention to detail and is safetyminded.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

May be required towear various forms of protective equipment (shoes, gloves,protective eyewear, etc.) May be required to pass warehouseequipment certifications (written and/or driving). Assigned workshifts may vary and/or rotate. Overtime may be required; extendedday, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demandand may include little to no advanced notice. Must be able tohandle and work physical inventory; required to lift up to 25 lbsor greater with assistance following standard operating and safetyprocedures. Other physical requirements including, regularly beingrequired to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb andbalance. Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheralvision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus arerequired.
