About the role:
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for material movement activities, including but not limited to stocking, picking for production replenishment, picking and staging orders, cycle counting, inventory error investigation and associated documentation. 1st shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:00 pm What you will do: Maintains upkeep of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) inventory control system. Stocks materials in appropriate locations after goods are released. Operates calibrated scales, RF scanners, and various material handling equipment Picks materials for production based on weekly production schedule, using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) for all production areas Reverses and restocks raw materials from manufacturing orders Operates forklift (requires forklift license) to achieve stocking warehouse with raw materials, empty cardboard bailer/trash hopper, and perform other related forklift tasks as needed. Performs cleaning of raw materials as deemed necessary through parts cleaner Performs weekly cycle counts according to schedule to verify correct inventory levels per location. Executes audits for inventory adjustments to correct discrepancies, as well as conducting investigations to determine root cause. Publishes cycle count tracking documents as required. Enters any raw material (RM), finished goods (FG), and work in progress (WIP) discrepancies into ERP system; prepares and routes Non-Conforming forms or Inventory Adjustment forms. Participates in conducting physical inventory, including performing pre-counts. Communicates with manufacturing regarding raw materials needed to fulfill production orders.
Who you are:
High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to operate forklift and obtain Forklift License. Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and management. Business communication is conducted in English. Ability to comprehend and follow SOP’s, WI’s, policies and procedures such a safety, quality, and HR that are written in English. Possess basic mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Basic understanding of GMP and working within FDA regulated industries preferred. Basic computer skills including ability to use MS Outlook and automated manufacturing and quality systems. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to get along well with others and work in a team environment. Ability to properly complete paperwork as required according to work instructions, standards or other specifications. Excellent dependability and reliability. Willingness to accept change, learn, and work with new processes. Familiarity with an ERP system and Quality Management System (eQMS) preferred.
