This role is crucial in ensuring that all returned or liquidation merchandise—primarily small appliances like ice makers—is refurbished, tested, cleaned, and shipped to customers in sellable condition. The ideal candidate has a mix of technical know-how, strong organizational skills, and pride in delivering high-quality products. Key Responsibilities Refurbishment & Testing Inspect incoming merchandise (primarily customer returns) for damage or missing parts. Test appliances for functionality using checklists and diagnostic methods. Perform basic repairs (cleaning, replacing filters, reattaching components, etc.). Clean items thoroughly to restore retail-ready appearance. Document refurbishment process and log units in inventory systems. Shipping & Fulfillment Package products securely for shipment according to brand and platform standards. Print and attach shipping labels and track shipments. Organize products by status (Ready to Ship, Needs Repair, Parts Needed, etc.). Coordinate with customer service for replacement parts or buyer inquiries. Warehouse Operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Assist with loading/unloading inventory. Follow safety procedures and equipment guidelines. Qualifications Experience in warehouse or appliance repair preferred, but not required. Ability to use basic hand tools and diagnose common appliance issues. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping labels. Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. High attention to detail and ability to work independently. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Preferred Skills (Not Required) Experience with platforms like eBay, Walmart Seller Center, Amazon Seller Central. Forklift certification or pallet jack experience.
