  The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the efficient movement of materials within the facility.

The Inventory Control Clerk role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to operate a forklift safely. The Inventory Control Clerk will collaborate with warehouse and production teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure the smooth flow of materials. This role will require schedule flexibility as the shift and overtime requirements may change with the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking, counting, and reconciling stock levels.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to verify inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality compliance.
• Coordinate material movement between storage locations and production areas.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods safely.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed. …
• Work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure efficient inventory flow.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in storage areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching.
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related field preferred.
• Forklift certification or prior experience operating a forklift is required.
