Job Description:

Looking for experience in distribution center / warehouse environment / retail inventory – preference given to food distribution experience. Counts merchandise in stock and posts totals to inventory records. Compare inventories to office records, or compute figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Generate reports such as inventory balance or shortages. Prepare lists of depleted items and recommend a survey of defective or unusable items. Must have experience with computers, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook. Inventory experience is a requirement; warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in a food storage warehouse or grocery. The candidate will split time between the office, the 10-degree freezer, 38-degree cooler, and ambient dry departments. IND_
