Job Description
Inventory Associate First Priority Emergency Vehicles 160 Gold Mine Road, Flanders, NJ 07836 Skill Level and Experience First Priority Group is a diversified manufacturer, dealer, upfitter and service provider of emergency and specialty vehicles seeking an Inventory Associate to support our customers at our Flanders, New Jersey facility. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to support our inventory and production teams. This role will primarily focus on the accurate stocking and organization of components and parts into inventory and production bins to ensure smooth workflow and timely access to materials.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Stock components and parts into inventory locations and production bins Maintain accurate inventory counts through routine cycle counting and documentation Collaborate with inventory and production teams Assist with receiving, labeling, and organizing incoming inventory Pull parts for production floor Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Inventory Manager Assist with parts counter to distribute parts and components to technicians Label bins and parts clearly with part numbers and descriptions for easy identification Replenish production bins throughout the day to avoid delays in assembly lines Communicate shortages or stock discrepancies to the Inventory Manager or Purchasing team Keep storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Qualifications:
Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or stockroom is preferred Experience in automotive parts environments (e.g., NAPA, Advance Auto Parts, or similar) is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods Team player with strong communication skills
