Inbound Stocker 2nd Shift Position Available In Oneida, New York

Aerotek is Hiring Inbound Stockers in Rome, NY! Job Description The role primarily involves supporting the Distribution Center by efficiently replenishing primary picking locations. You will be responsible for transferring merchandise using various equipment and maintaining inventory accuracy. Responsibilities Transfer merchandise using a stand-up reach truck, sit-down forklift, stock picker, and/or pallet jack from staging areas to primary pick locations and back to stock locations. Operate a handheld scanner to ensure accurate inventory management. Understand receiving labels on inbound merchandise to correctly identify and place items into assigned locations. Identify and maintain merchandise in primary pick locations. Accurately identify units of measure for proper merchandise placement. Communicate with co-workers regarding any identified location stocking errors. Meet quality and productivity standards. Follow directions from the Supervisor effectively. Maintain excellent attendance and reliability. Adhere to Distribution Center housekeeping guidelines. Essential Skills Experience in materials handling, stocking, inventory management, and order selection. Proficiency with equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners. Ability to lift 60-80lbs. High school diploma preferred. Commitment to safety standards and practices. Excellent attendance record. Willingness to work overtime when necessary. Strong comprehension, organizational, and math skills. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to interact with other departments and all levels of management. Accurate record maintenance and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Team player mentality with a positive attitude. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rome, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 – $19.50/hr.
