Position Summary:
The Cycle Counter is responsible for performing regular inventory counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and integrity. This role involves counting stock in designated areas, investigating discrepancies, and working closely with the inventory and warehouse teams to maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cycle counts of inventory items according to schedule. Verify stock quantities and compare counts against system records. Investigate and report any discrepancies or inconsistencies in inventory. Collaborate with warehouse and inventory control teams to resolve issues. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of counts and adjustments. Assist with physical inventory audits as needed. Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times. Suggest process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse, or a related field preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory systems. Ability to lift and move items as required.
