Cycle counter Inventory Manager Fourth Street Foods 3 Arentzen Boulevard, Charleroi, PA 15022
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through physical counts of designated items on a routine schedule, reconciling discrepancies, and reporting findings. They ensure that inventory records match the physical stock, contributing to efficient warehouse operations and accurate financial records.
Job Duties:
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct Cycle Counts:
Perform scheduled physical counts of inventory items (e.g., raw materials, finished goods)
Inventory Reconciliation:
Compare physical counts to inventory records, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Data Entry and Reporting:
Record count data, report variances, and contribute to inventory reports and analysis.
Data Management:
Utilizing inventory management software and data analysis to track inventory, identify trends, and generate reports.
Location Verification:
Ensure materials are stored in their designated locations and report any misclassified inventory.
Maintain Accuracy:
Uphold inventory accuracy through adherence to company procedures and reporting of any issues.
Locate Materials:
Assist other departments in locating materials as needed. Maintain a
Safe and Organized Environment:
Ensure the work area is clean and organized and follow safety procedures
Required Skills and Experience:
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, and potentially lift objects (sometimes up to 50-75 lbs) for extended periods.
Work Environment:
Ability to work in a noisy environment and cooler/freezer environments. Attention to
Detail:
Meticulousness in counting, recording, and reconciling inventory data.
Basic Math Skills:
Proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Communication Skills:
Clear and effective communication to report findings and collaborate with others.
Computer Literacy:
Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to investigate discrepancies and propose solutions.
Experience:
Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations is often preferred
Educational Background:
