Job description This position is responsible for inventorying wood veneer and ensuring that purchasing documents are accurate and complete. Inspecting product upon arrival and accurately entering them into our system of record. Working with purchasing, receiving, and other teams to ensure accurate recording of inventory and smooth material flow. Organizing inventory areas, and handling materials, which could include lifting up to 50 pounds. We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our team. Must be self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and grow, and be a team player. 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 700a-330p

Saturdays Duties:

• Inspect products for quality and accuracy
• Perform visual inspections to identify defects or malfunctions
• Conducting physical counts
• Managing inventory data on computer systems
• Maintain inspection records and documentation
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Experience:

• Previous experience in a wood manufacturing setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection processes

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 20-30 lbs and to stand for long periods of time
• Basic math & computer skills and ability to read a tape measure
• Great communication skills with the ability to convey information to other departments
• Ability to read and comprehend paperwork, multi-task and prioritize the daily workload
• Wood industry knowledge is advantageous
• Proficiency with Microsoft is a must
• Photography skills or knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a plus
