Aiken, SC Job Description Key Accountabilities:
Prepare and supply material to support Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) within the MRO crib area. Manage and lead item adds, material changes and obsoleting material processes to include taking photos, attaching in SAP, and assigning and unassigning bin locations as needed. Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments. Confer and correspond with Buyer and/or vendors to rectify any problems. Read and interpret how to create standard work instructions and maintenance work order documents. Perform all aspects of receiving, storing, issuing, and returning non-production material, all fluids included, using SAP transactions as required. Prepare goods for storage and maintain accurate inventory counts for all stock and non-stock material, using the appropriate SAP transactions. Work with MRO Crib Buyer on proper procurement and expediting product. Perform all aspects of Reservations, which include but not limited to running reports, using pick tickets, and issuing. Perform root cause analysis of inventory inaccuracies and follow standard practices and guidelines for issue resolution and material’s management. Organize the development and lead implementation of new material control processes to reduce cycle time. Provide training to personnel as specified in the departmental training matrix. Run monthly reports out of SAP, distribute to each department on usage and spend out of the crib. Assist end-users with acquiring quotes from vendors Run weekly reports for Stock Out material in the MRO Crib and follow-up on delinquent items Run weekly reports to assist maintenance with MRO Crib materials discrepancies required for work orders Track and dispose of material with expired shelf life and non-moving material physically and in SAP Perform daily cycle counting, including necessary SAP transactions to reconcile discrepancies. Perform necessary SAP transactions for goods movements and tracking of Capital Assets, including working in the Plant Maintenance module to install and dismantle these capital assets. Facilitate the Repair process of capital assets needing repair. Support and coordinate with the upkeep and maintenance of the Aiken pool car fleet. Perform special projects as required and maintain on the job flexibility by providing support in materials and other production/non-production related areas. Work Environment:
