Inventory Cycle Counter The Coastal Group Hardeeville, SC 29927 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cycle Counter to join our team. The Cycle Counter will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves conducting regular cycle counts, analyzing inventory discrepancies, and collaborating with various departments to optimize inventory management processes. Responsibilities Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies. Utilize data mining techniques to analyze inventory data and trends. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper inventory handling and storage practices. Perform data collection and maintain accurate records of inventory levels. Use SQL for querying databases to extract relevant inventory information. Assist in financial analysis related to inventory valuation and turnover rates. Employ data visualization tools to present findings and recommendations effectively. Operate forklifts as needed for inventory movement within the warehouse. Utilize AS400 systems for tracking inventory transactions and reporting. Support MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes by providing accurate inventory data. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Strong analytical skills with a focus on data analysis and financial metrics. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and reporting purposes. Familiarity with data visualization tools to communicate insights effectively. Experience with AS400 systems is a plus. Knowledge of MRP systems is advantageous. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently (certification preferred). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.
