The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for accurate and timely processing of inventory related transactions in the company’s ERP system. This would include processing purchase order receipts, vendor returns, stock shipments, warehouse location transfers, and cycle counts transactions.

EDUCATION

Required:

High school diploma

EXPERIENCE

Required:

Minimum of 1-year prior experience working with computer systems. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel. The proper candidate will be organized and very detail oriented.

Preferred:

Experience in a warehouse environment or prior work experience working with inventory, shipping, or receiving.

CORE COMPETENCIES

(Essential Job Functions) 1. Process daily purchase order receipts for multiple warehouse locations. 2. Identify discrepancies between packing slips and purchase orders and communicate issues with appropriate purchasing and warehouse personnel. 3. Enter warehouse transfer documents. 4. Tracking and reconciliation of inventory balances. 5. Follow up on stock shortages and other receiving-related issues. 6. Other inventory duties, as assigned.
