Cycle Counter Position Available In Rutherford, Tennessee

Job Description:

SUMMARY This position is responsible for maintaining a highlevel of inventory accuracy and integrity. Incumbent will beresponsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cyclecounting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verifiedand reflect reported inventory. Duties also include miscellaneousstores/stockroom activities to maintain inventory accuracy throughprocessing of material receipts, transfers, and issues.

ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following: Cycle count rawmaterials, packaging materials, finished goods, and non-conformingmaterials on a daily basis. Utilizes SAP to process cycle counts,review on-hand inventory, current activity, and past activity.

Ensures materials are in proper locations and conducts searches inorder to locate misclassified inventory. Opens cartons, bundles,and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials todetermine quantity on hand. Weight and mark product displayingremaining product left. Report discrepancies of over/under amountsand any damaged products to management – publish inventory metrics.

Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed and performsroot cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommendsprocess improvement to eliminate problems. Maintain clean,organized, safe working environment with equipment and materialslocated in proper locations in accordance with 5S standards insideand outside of facility. Ability to work all designated shifts.

EXPERIENCE

High SchoolDiploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. 1 to 3 yearsof factory related experience in shipping and receiving/cyclecounter experience.i ca

N OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Stronganalysis, problem solving, process and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles. Dynamic communication /inter-personal skills. Proven time management skills with theability to respond to time-critical issues. Basic computer skills.
