The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through the execution of regular cycle counts and the investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring inventory integrity, supporting efficient warehouse operations, and contributing to overall supply chain accuracy. The Cycle Counter will perform physical counts of materials, compare results to system data, identify and analyze variances, and work collaboratively with other departments to implement corrective actions and improve inventory control processes.

salary:

$17.99 – $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM – 3 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory in assigned areas according to established schedules and procedures.
Accurately count and record quantities of materials, parts, and finished goods.
Compare physical counts to inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or other inventory management tools.
Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, including overages, shortages, and misplaced items.
Research the root causes of inventory discrepancies and work with relevant departments (e.g., warehouse, receiving, shipping) to determine and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain accurate cycle count records, reports, and documentation of findings and adjustments.
Update inventory records in the system to reflect accurate counts and adjustments, following proper authorization and procedures.
Assist in the development and improvement of inventory control policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Communicate cycle count findings, discrepancies, and potential issues to the appropriate personnel and departments in a timely manner.
Assist with physical inventory counts as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, scanner) safely and efficiently, as required.
Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Skills
