Tool Crib Attendant 2.3 2.3 out of 5 stars 115 Precision Boulevard, Telford, TN 37690 ## Overview We are seeking a dedicated Tool Crib Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and distributing tools and equipment efficiently to support operational needs. ## Duties Receive tools and equipment into inventory and issue them to authorized personnel as needed. Maintain accurate records of all tools, equipment, and supplies, including quantities, locations, and conditions. Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to ensure availability. Arrange tools and equipment in a logical and accessible manner within the tool crib or warehouse. Regularly inspect tools and equipment for damage, defects, or wear and tear. Perform routine maintenance tasks or coordinate repairs to ensure tools are in good working condition. Ensure that measuring instruments and other calibrated tools are up-to-date and properly maintained. Document all transactions involving tools and equipment, including issues, returns, and transfers. Prepare reports on inventory levels, usage patterns, and any issues or discrepancies. Assist employees in locating and selecting appropriate tools or equipment for their tasks. Provide training or guidance on proper tool handling and care to ensure safety and longevity. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding tool use, storage, and safety. Promote and enforce safe practices in the use and handling of tools and equipment. Coordinate with various departments or teams to understand their tool and equipment needs. Work closely with purchasing, maintenance, and other relevant departments to optimize inventory management and procurement processes. Keep the tool crib or warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards. Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy. Identify opportunities for improving efficiency in tool management and inventory control ## Requirements – Experience with tool crib operations and inventory management Proficiency in computer skills – Exceptional time management; verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail & accuracy
