Job Description
Warehouse Tech – Starting at $20.50/Hour 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Brattleboro, VT 05301 In immediate need of a Material Handler/Warehouse Tech in the Brattleboro, VT area . This is a full time second shift position starting at $20.50/hour .
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a powered industrial truck (forklift) and ride behind pallet jack after successful completion of training program General knowledge and understanding of conventional and organic raw materials Comprehension of the use of lot numbers as it pertains to inventory control Ability to work for extended periods of time in cooler and/or freezer General knowledge of food allergens and the safe handling of food products containing allergens Use of scan gun for material movements and inventory purposes Ability to accurately document and label all items in accordance with protocol and inventory control procedures Adhere to, use, and encourage Good Manufacturing Practices following all sanitation SOPs and production procedures and guidelines Maintain high cleanliness and quality standards. Report any concerns immediately upon discovery and take and/or recommend steps to remediate
Requirements:
Communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and through written documentation. Follow oral and written instructions. Reason with and apply basic math (including use of calculator) and mechanics.
